Production Expeditor Administrator

Salary - Dependant on experience

Immediate start - 4th November 2024

Hours: 7am - 5.15pm, 4 days Monday to Thursday (39 hours per week)

Our client is a manufacturer of machine components and are committed to be the best supplier within their industry. We are looking for a Production Expeditor to assist the delivery of customer orders, expediting issues liaising with key sub-contract suppliers in a timely manner.

Responsibilities: Production Expeditor Administrator

  • Expedite required areas of the business to help deliver and maintain the "Master Production Schedule" mitigating challenges ensuring on-time delivery to customers.
  • Support weekly production meetings, collating information and updating the company ERP system.
  • Compile and send "production updates" to key customers as directed on a regular cadence.
  • Respond to production completion queries.
  • Assist in motivating production, promoting engagement and focus, in aid of delivering production plans and targets.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure items are packed suitably, clearly labelled, ready for dispatch.
  • Assist in Stores (packing and delivery paperwork) as required.

Skills / Experience: Production Expeditor Administrator

  • Previous Administration experience
  • Able to handle a busy workload
  • Experience using Microsoft packages e.g. Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal / communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Confident on the phone
