Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm. Friday 7.30am - 1.30pm.

Manufacturing Engineer (Production) required for a successful and well-established electronics manufacturer serving a diverse customer base.  The role will suit those looking for a varied and challenging role where you take ownership and have input in the manufacturing process.

The successful Manufacturing Engineer will have a thorough understanding of manufacturing environments and processes. Previous knowledge/experience with electronic components is required. You will be IT literate and have experience of using ERP systems/databases.

The Manufacturing Engineer Role:

  •          Produce work instructions through the company MES system.
  •          Production of accurate BOM’s from customers documentation to allow for accurate and timely materials and assembly costings.
  •          Developing processes and techniques for improve production efficiency and turn around times.
  •          Provide customer support on returns, producing documentation for repairs and track progress.
  •          Liaising with other departments on bespoke customer requirements.
  •          Implement and maintain CI programmes.
  •          Minimising waste in engineering and production.

The Successful Manufacturing Engineer:

  •          You will have a thorough understanding of manufacturing environments and processes.
  •          Previous knowledge/experience with electronic components is required.
  •          You will be IT literate and experience of using ERP systems/databases.
