Caraline is an established Eating Disorders Charity and has been serving the local community for over 30 years, providing vital support to people living with eating disorders and their families across Bedfordshire and Luton.  We are looking for an experienced operations manager to join our award-winning team. An individual with experience in operational management in healthcare and/or the VCSE sector and effective people management skills to motivate, empower, and lead change.

Our operations manager will be at the heart of this dedicated, dynamic, and growing service, as well as an inspiring leader and passionate advocate for our colleagues and the people we support.

The Operations Manager will:

Work as part of the Charity’s Triumvirate to plan, develop, direct and oversee the management of Caraline’s current and future programmes; ensure the efficiency, quality and value of service delivery and operations; and execute and monitor long and short-term plans. Represent Caraline at a senior and strategic level with external partners. Support and build strategic direction for Caraline. Deputise for the CEO and to ensure that current and future operations continue on a sustainable and viable basis and can evidence positive outcomes and value. Manage and monitor budgets and ensure that appropriate financial procedures are followed and financial resources allocated to run activities and venues are spent in the most cost-effective way. Lead on income generation and sustainability for the Charity. Manage and develop the Volunteer Programme. Work with the Clinical Lead to ensure an effective stepped-care model with our NHS partners and multi-agency working across the VSCE sector. Manage an effective operational team for Caraline.
