Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Slinger Banksman to join a long-term project in Luton, starting at the beginning of November. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified individual with a CPCS Slinger Card, looking to work on a busy construction site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely sling and signal the movement of materials and equipment on site.
- Direct crane operators and ensure loads are lifted and positioned safely and accurately.
- Work closely with site teams to ensure smooth and efficient lifting operations.
- Adhere to site health and safety regulations, ensuring safe lifting practices are followed at all times.
- Conduct daily checks on lifting equipment to ensure it is in safe working condition.
Requirements:
- CPCS Slinger Card (valid and in date).
- Previous experience as a slinger banksman on construction sites.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to lifting operations.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
