Role and responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons to KS2 students, following the national curriculum.
  • Support and guide students in their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Create a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages active participation and growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver a well-rounded educational experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of students' progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
  • Contribute to the school community through extra-curricular activities and school events.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2
  • Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment procedures.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate young learners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and adaptable approach to teaching and learning.
