Product Manager - Luton


We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled product manager to join our client's team in the Engineering & Manufacturing sector.

Our client are an established Global Engineering & Manufacturing Company near Luton that specializes in engineered products, providing innovative solutions for their clients.

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for developing effective strategies to increase sales revenue while ensuring profitability.


Responsibilities of Product Manager:

Product Strategies

  • Develop and implement successful product strategies aligned with business objectives.

Sales Forecasting

  • Conduct market research analysis aimed at forecasting future sales trends of current or new products.

Pricing Strategy

  • Determine pricing structures that align with overall financial goals by analyzing competitor prices as well as profit margins of similar products within the industry.

Support P&L

  • Keep track of all expenses related to production costs including materials used during manufacturing processes so you can provide meaningful support when necessary concerning profits generated from each sale made through marketing efforts.

Advanced Excel Skills

  • Analyze large amounts data using advanced excel skills such as pivot tables which allows one see how different sets relate together visually rather than just reading numbers off spreadsheets .


Qualifications & Experience Required for Product Manager Role


We are looking for a Product Manager with an Engineering or Business Degree or a related field who has experience as a Product Manager within a manufacturing / engineering / assembly / engineered product environment

The ideal Product Manager will have the ability to understand technical drawings, specifications documents, and requirements management using software and additionally, experience of Sales Forecasting, Margin Analysis, Pricing Strategies and a strong understanding of activities & KPI's that impact and underpin Profit & Loss.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills (verbal/written), be results-driven with strong analytical abilities and advanced Excel skills.

They should also possess exceptional organizational capabilities, with the ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining attention-to-detail when necessary.

Location & Working Arrangements:
This position is located near Luton, UK, but do operate hybrid & flexible wokring, as ourr client is committed to providing a flexible working environment that meets the needs of its employees.
