Procurement Lead / Luton, Hybrid / £70 per hour

Join our client, a leader in the defence industry, they are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Lead with a strong background in defence and service-based procurement to support our growing operations.

Join our Electronic Warfare (EW) business as a Procurement Lead in the Integrated Mission Solutions (IMS) Sector. You'll work in a matrix organisation, supporting Integrated Project Teams (IPT) and building strategic relationships with key partners.

What You'll Do
  • Lead sub-contract work packages and procurement services.
  • Build effective relationships with IMS Suppliers, Partners, and Subcontractors.
  • Translate project requirements into commercial documents.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements.
  • Mitigate risks in commercial agreements.
  • Develop and negotiate robust contracts.
  • Ensure commercial protections are in place.
  • Drive strategies to influence business decisions.
  • Identify solutions for complex risks/opportunities.
  • Create and maintain Procurement Plans.
  • Lead the generation of specifications and SOW documents.
  • Promote best practices and knowledge sharing.
  • Manage compliance and governance for procured items and services.
What You'll Need
  • Experience managing relationships in a matrix organisation.
  • Ability to influence business decisions and manage subcontracts.
  • Proven track record in developing robust contracts.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week

Hybrid (Travel to Luton and Lincoln sites required)

This is an 18 month Temporary Contract with the potential to extend
