Quality Manager

Quality Manager - Luton, Bedfordshire

A prestigious company in Luton, Bedfordshire, is looking for a dedicated Quality Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for the development and management of company quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO45001 & ISO14001 as well as the facilitation of both internal and external audits and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and right first time.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee Quality Assurance and Welding personnel

- Manage product quality and ensure compliance with standards

- Enforce safe working practices and appropriate PPE usage

- Act as the product quality representative and mentor employees on the Quality Management System

- Prepare and maintain product specifications and process procedures

- Develop and promote the Non-Conformance system (CAPA IT)

- Provide process/procedure training support to production

- Lead or participate in quality improvement projects and internal supplier QA audit activities

- Ensure the timely delivery of databooks and manage the training and development process for the department

Skills and Experience Required:

- Engineering degree or equivalent

- Previous industry experience

- ISO auditor approved

- Proficiency in 8D Root Cause Analysis

- Six Sigma Green Belt or above
