Luton Based
A Quantity Surveyor required for a civil and groundworks, to support them on their residential and commercial groundworks schemes, based in Luton.
This Residential Groundworks company is a 20M turnover business, with 12 sites, value between 500K and 8M.
You will support the Commercial Director in the successful commercial and financial management of schemes from point of award through to final account.
Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for supporting the Commercial Director managing costs with an end goal of maximising the project margin and ensuring delivery of payment whilst developing future client relationships.
- Measurement and valuation of residential and commercial groundworks schemes
- Preparation of monthly applications for payments for allocated projects
- Identification and pricing of variations to clients
- Negotiation and agreement of variations
Experience in residential and/or commercial groundwork schemes or roads & drainage, gained whilst working for a civil and groundwork subcontractor.
This is a permanent position; they are looking for an individual who can demonstrate stability of employment throughout their career.
Salary guideline will be 45,00,000-65,000 per annum plus package, this could be increased, depending on qualifications, knowledge and experience.
