We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Shift Manager based in Luton for one of our clients on a 12 month Maternity Contract cover. Our client is a well-established wholesale distributor.
Summary of the Shift Manager role
Salary: £40,000
Location: Luton
Type of Contract: 12 month fixed term contract
Hours: 4 on 4 off, working 3am to 3pm
Responsibilities of the Shift Manager
- Optimising resource/staffing deployment.
- Drive continuous improvement.
- Lead and support the team in following the target operating model.
- Set and purpose targets and KPIs.
- Performance analysis.
- Lead and mentor team members, providing regular feedback, recognition and constructive guidance.
- Resource planning.
Requirements for a successful Shift Manager
- Proven Managerial experience within a KPI driven environment.
- Strong ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent leadership skills with demonstrable experience leading teams.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong IT skills with proficiency in Office 365 and ERP systems.
- Attention to detail with strong organisational and multitasking skills.
