This is not a sales role, rather an opportunity for collaboration and developing innovative strategies that directly impact our 3 year fundraising plan, ensuring sustainable growth and improved outcomes for our hospice care on a 12 month FTC!

What Youll Do

  • Oversee the planning and performance monitoring for the Fundraising Team to ensure income targets are met
  • Implement data driven strategies, Identify gaps in our current plan, evaluating initiatives to improve income generation and ROI
  • Create and monitor KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of fundraising activities, providing performance reports against targets.
  • Continue to build partnerships with the wider hospice team, encouraging collaboration to develop new funding ideas and initiatives.
  • Partner with Fundraising Managers to explore innovative income opportunities beyond traditional fundraising, developing business cases for revenue streams
  • Lead the team members to embrace a entrepreneurial mindset and opportunity driven culture
  • Share industry experience and analysis of fundraising climate, adapting strategies to respond effectively to changes.

What Youll Need

  • Proven experience in fundraising operations or a similar role, ideally within the charity or not-for-profit sector
  • Strong leadership skills, with a record of managing and motivating cross functional teams
  • An expert in strategic planning, resource management, and budget oversight
  • Analytical mindset, using data metrics for informed decision making
  • Experience in building partnerships and engaging with major donors, corporate partners, and trusts.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, identifying new revenue opportunities
  • Excellent communication and relationship building abilities
