What We're Looking For:A degree in English or a related subject.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
  • PGCE or equivalent qualification (highly desirable).
  • A proven track record of delivering engaging lessons that inspire student success.
  • Experience designing imaginative and stimulating schemes of work.
  • Mentoring or coaching experience to support Early Career Teachers.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for motivating students and colleagues.
  • Commitment to safeguarding procedures and student welfare.

Your Role:Deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Create exciting lesson plans that bring literature and language to life.
  • Mentor Early Career Teachers, providing guidance, encouragement, and constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching strategies and curriculum delivery.
  • Engage with pastoral leads, parents, and carers to support student progress and wellbeing.
  • Build a positive learning environment where every student can thrive.
