What We're Looking For: A degree in English or a related subject.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
- PGCE or equivalent qualification (highly desirable).
- A proven track record of delivering engaging lessons that inspire student success.
- Experience designing imaginative and stimulating schemes of work.
- Mentoring or coaching experience to support Early Career Teachers.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for motivating students and colleagues.
- Commitment to safeguarding procedures and student welfare.
Your Role: Deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Create exciting lesson plans that bring literature and language to life.
- Mentor Early Career Teachers, providing guidance, encouragement, and constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching strategies and curriculum delivery.
- Engage with pastoral leads, parents, and carers to support student progress and wellbeing.
- Build a positive learning environment where every student can thrive.
