We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school in Luton on a temporary basis from January until the end of the academic year.
About the RoleAs a Geography Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
- Inspire students to develop a love for Geography and a curiosity about the world.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that fosters academic excellence.
- Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities, where possible.
The successful candidate will:
- Hold a recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
- Have experience teaching Geography at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS5 experience is desirable but not essential).
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
