Maths Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Luton. The role is due to start on a permanent basis starting from January 2025. 

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver engaging Maths lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Employ effective classroom management techniques to foster a positive learning environment.
  • Prepare educational materials that stimulate learning across different abilities.
  • Assess and record students’ progress, offering feedback to aid their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate lessons.
  • Participate in school meetings and events as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or NQT (Newly Qualified Teacher) status.
  • Minimum of three terms of experience within a UK secondary school.
  • Proficient classroom management skills.
  • A resourceful and enthusiastic approach to teaching Maths.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the National Curriculum.
  • Two strong references from previous educational roles.
