A reputable secondary school in Hertfordshire is seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our team for the new school year starting in September 2024. This is a full-time, long-term position offering the opportunity to make a significant impact on students' educational journeys.
Responsibilities:
- Lesson Planning and Delivery: Develop and deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and refinement of the Maths curriculum, ensuring it is up-to-date and meets educational standards.
- Assessment and Feedback: Design and administer assessments, provide constructive feedback, and track student progress to ensure academic success.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment, fostering a love for learning and respect among students.
- Support and Guidance: Provide support and guidance to students, helping them to achieve their academic and personal goals.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in Geography education.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to share resources, strategies, and best practices for effective teaching.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience teaching Maths at the secondary school level.
- Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum and educational standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
