We are excited to present a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and self-motivated Teacher of Religious Education to join our client school's wonderful Humanities department. Our client is seeking a teacher with enthusiasm and passion for Religious Studies, who will be required to teach across KS3, KS4, and KS5 to a diverse range of student abilities.

Key Duties

  • Develop, plan, and deliver effective and high-quality learning experiences to all students.
  • Be an aspirational professional who is enthusiastic, influential, and committed to working in pursuit of success for the academy and its learners.
  • Set high expectations for all pupils, deepen their knowledge and understanding, and maximize their achievement.
  • Assess pupils' work systematically and use the results to inform future planning, teaching, and curricular development.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

  • Experience teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (ability to teach KS5 is admirable).
  • A 'can do' attitude and a commitment to inclusive education.
  • Good behaviour management skills and a solid understanding of the Religious Studies curriculum for KS3 and KS4.
  • Resilience, hard work, and experience in a diverse, fast-paced, multi-cultural school with good behaviour management.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality lessons, evaluate their impact, and develop future planning accordingly.
  • Alignment with the school's vision and values.
  • Alignment with the school's approach to teaching and learning
  • Excellent communication and team-working skills.
  • Passion, creativity, and energy towards your subject area and educating young people.
