As a Year 6 Teacher, you'll play a pivotal role in nurturing our students' academic and personal growth, preparing them for their transition to secondary school, and creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. Year 6 Teacher Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons tailored to the needs and interests of Year 6 students, promoting literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development.

- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies, practical activities, and creative resources to make learning enjoyable and accessible for all children.

- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel empowered to explore their ideas, develop their skills, and achieve their full potential.

- Assess student progress through a range of formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth and development.

- Promote positive behaviour and social skills by modelling respect, cooperation, and responsibility, and implementing effective classroom management strategies.

- Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular links, participate in departmental meetings, and contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Relevant university degree and PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.

- Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting is preferred, but not essential.
