Responsibilities:

  • Classroom Support: Provide direct support to teachers in the classroom, assisting with lesson delivery, student supervision, and classroom management.
  • Individualised Support: Work with individual students to provide additional academic or behavioral support, adapting your approach to their needs.
  • Differentiated Instruction: Assist with implementing differentiated instruction to support diverse learners.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete administrative tasks as assigned by teachers, including marking, preparing resources, and managing equipment.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with teachers, support staff, and other professionals.

Requirements:

  • HLTA Qualification: Hold a valid HLTA qualification.
  • Experience: Proven experience working as an HLTA in a UK school setting.
  • Passion for Education: A genuine passion for supporting student learning and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment.
  • Strong Communication: Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with teachers, students, and colleagues.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and learning needs.
  • Teamwork: Experience working collaboratively within a team to support student success.
