We are currently working closely with a lovely mainstream Primary School in Luton who are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support in lessons across the school. As a HLTA you will be responsible for covering classes, running interventions and being flexible to support wherever needed within the school. You will be supported by the SLT who go above and beyond to ensure that staff well-being is prioritised.

This 3 form entry school offers real room for progress and growth and the successful candidate will be encouraged to invest in their own professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cover Lessons in teachers absence
  • Support with interventions across the school
  • Build brilliant rapport with students and staff across the school
  • Feedback effectively to parents, SENDCO's and outside agencies when required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience as a HLTA
  • Confident with behaviour management
  • Adaptable and able to work seamlessly across the school
  • Degree or HLTA qualification preferred
