Hours: Mon-Fri - 9.00am - 5.00pm - office based

MUST HAVE: as a minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electronics or electrical engineering disciplines

Purpose of role

Providing quality technical support to customers- Maintenance, calibration and repair

Responsibilities:

  • Completing preventative maintenance, calibration and /or repair on a wide range of instruments sent to the workshop
  • Ensuring accurate cost estimates are sent and purchase orders received
  • Completing all service records and provide correct documentation for all work to the customers
  • Managing In-House support tickets to meet service KPIs
  • Performing maintenance, functional checks and repairs on demonstration and loan instruments
  • Accurately controlling spare parts inventory
  • Maintaining the workshop to ensure compliance with H&S requirements and a clean working environment

Attributes:

  • · NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electronics or electrical engineering disciplines
  • Experience of maintaining complex and sensitive equipment is preferred
  • Experience in customer service.
  • High attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed
