The school are seeking a dynamic and inspirational Secondary SENCo. You will play a key role in leading the development of provision for students with Special Educational Needs and developing practice across the school.Â
As SENCo you can expect to play a major strategic role in the school’s development; leading change, coordinating learning support across the school, and managing the provision of students with special educational needs. JOB DESCRIPTION – SECONDARY SENCO
•   Secondary SENCO
•   Responsible for coordinating SEN across the school
•   Working closely with staff, parent / carers and outside agencies
•   Providing professional guidance to staff
•   Completing EHCP paperwork
•   1:1 assessment for SEN pupilsÂ
•   Full-time & permanent school contractÂ
•   Flexible start date – April / September
•   Fringe pay MPS / UPS / LPS + TLRÂ
•   Qualified Secondary SENCOs
•   You MUST hold UK QTS and have UK Secondary teaching experienceÂ
•   Excellent understanding of the SEN Code of Practice & Secondary Curriculum
•   Ability to communicate well & excellent management skills
•   Down to earth, passionate & empathetic individualÂ
