Primary Behaviour Support Lead

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Behaviour Support Lead to support several schools in Luton until Christmas initially. Your role will be based across 7 schools in Luton and you will be required to travel between each on a weekly basis.

As a behaviour support lead, you will be responsible for observing children in their lesson and identifying triggers and formulating plans with the classroom teachers which focus on resolving challenging behaviour and understanding the root causes. You will need to be confident advising classroom teachers on the best approach for each child. Many of the children you will be working closely with will have SEMH, ASD and other SEND needs.

Due to the nature of this role, prior experience in a similar role is essential. Our partner school is looking for people who can hit the ground running and make a real impact on the behaviour across all 7 schools in a short period of time.

To join this school and be successful in this role you will need the following;

  • Strong experience in a school with a focus on behaviour
  • Confidence leading and speaking to teachers to provide feedback, advise and direction on the best course of action with each individual child
  • SEN Level 3 or 4 qualification
  • Trauma informed training
  • Legal right to work in the UK - Sponsorship not available for this role
