We are seeking a dedicated Autism Specialist with relevant qualifications to join our client at a primary school located in Luton. This is an exciting opportunity to work with individuals on the autism spectrum and make a real difference.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Experience working with individuals with autism.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to providing high-quality support.
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements:

  • Must have an Autism related qualification.
  • Experience of working with children with additional needs, ideally in a school setting.
  • Strong understanding of special educational needs and inclusive education practices.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Professionalism, patience, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Highly motivated and able to take initiative, with a clear understanding of your role in supporting children’s development.
