We are currently recruiting for a TB Nurse Specialist for our client (NHS Role) based in Luton. This is an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team in a role focused on providing specialist nursing advice in TB management and prevention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist nursing advice for both primary and secondary care, focusing on TB prevention through vaccination, education, and monitoring patients.
  • Work closely with the UK Health Security Agency and healthcare professionals to implement infection control measures according to established protocols.
  • Support patient care across a variety of departments and settings, ensuring effective collaboration with other teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • RGN Qualification with current NMC Registration.
  • Post-registration experience in a community or acute care setting.
  • Sound knowledge and experience in TB management and treatment.
  • Experience in developing and working with clinical protocols and pathways.
  • Familiarity with screening and immunisation programmes.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in clinical situations.
  • Experience in undertaking patient assessments and providing care in various settings.
