Job Overview

We are excited to being working alongside our client who have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager to join us at their brand-new Luton store. 

Looking for a candidate experienced in fashion retail who will support the Store General Manager to motivate and encourage the team to give our customers the best possible shopping experience while achieving store objectives. This role requires leadership skills, excellent organisational abilities, and a passion for retail management.

Responsibilities•    Help to lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.•    Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and staff scheduling.•    Supervise and train staff to ensure high standards of service and adherence to company policies.•    Maintain an organised and visually appealing store environment that reflects the brand's image.•    Communicate effectively with team members, providing feedback and support to foster professional development.•    Handle administrative tasks such as payroll processing, reporting, and stock control.

The role will be working 39 hours over 5 days per week, with the following shift pattern:Monday 8.00am to 6.00pmTuesday Day OffWednesday 8.00am to 6.00pmThursday 8.00am to 3.30pmFriday 8.00am - 3.00pmSaturday Day OffSunday 10.00am -5.00pm

Starting Salary £27,000 per annum. Plus the potential for a monthly performance related bonus. Employees also benefit from a company life assurance scheme and generous staff discount.
