Our client is a leading engineering company that provides engineering services to a range of Electric and Hybrid Commercial Vehicles.

They are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer to cover north of the m25, Oxfordshire and East Anglia.

The Role:

Field Service support for Commercial Vehicles Division, Electric Drive and bus transmission systems.

Carry out diagnostics and repairs at customer and 3rd. party sites.

Carry out major unit exchanges at above locations.

Support to OEMs as required.

Support with new product introductions.

Support sales team in CV department to increase awareness of product performance, share field service opportunities and drive growth.

Provide technical support and advice to sales colleagues where appropriate.

Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers and their representatives.

Liaise with Health & Safety and Field Service Managers on any issues arising from the day-to- day tasks.

Complete engineering reports in a timely manner

Manage expenses responsibly.

Monitor and control stock levels within individual's depot.

Maintain company vehicle in accordance with company policy.

Carry out stock takes in line with annual plan.

Working unsociable hours may arise to meet the requirements of the business.

Work reasonable additional hours to meet business needs.

Use reporting procedures to feedback quality related issues noted during the work assignment.

Ensure all assigned training within PEP and iHasco are kept up to date.

Undertake product specific training when requested.

The Candidate:

Completed engineering apprenticeship as minimum, level 5 qualification or higher preferred.

Background in field services and engineering

Experience with electric vehicles

Excellent diagnostic capabilities

Good IT skills

Full UK driving licence.

The Package:

Offering up to 60k, plus bonus (up to 7%), private medical, private dental and 6% employer pension.
