Westwood Recruitmentare currently on the lookout for aCommercial Vehicle Field Service Engineerfor our client on a permanent basis. This role will be home based but customer site-orientated so you will need to be located around the Luton area north of the M25 corridor area for this position.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostics and repairs at customer and third-party sites.
  • Perform major unit exchanges at designated locations.
  • Support OEMs as required and assist with new product introductions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team in the CV department to enhance awareness of product performance, share field service opportunities, and drive growth.
  • Provide technical support and advice to sales colleagues when necessary.
  • Work safely and professionally in accordance with relevant documentation.
  • Submit all paperwork promptly upon assignment completion and generate engineering reports.
  • Monitor and control stock levels within individual depots.
  • Conduct stock takes in line with the annual plan.
  • Use reporting procedures to provide feedback on quality-related issues observed during work assignments.
  • Keep all assigned training within PEP and iHasco up to date.


Professional Experience & Education:

  • Completed engineering apprenticeship as a minimum, level 5 qualification or higher preferred.
  • Background in field services and engineering.
  • Experience with electric vehicles.
  • Excellent diagnostic capabilities and IT skills.
  • Full UK driving license.

New employees are required to pass a Drugs and Alcohol-related Medical upon starting with the Company.

Package Details:

  • Company Vehicle.
