About Us: Our Clients are a leading civil engineering company with an extensive fleet of Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs). Their commitment to excellence and safety in every project has positioned them as industry leaders. Currently seeking a skilled and dedicated HGV Technician to join their dynamic team in Luton.

Role Overview: As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of their large fleet of HGVs. Your expertise will ensure the vehicles are in optimal condition, meeting all safety standards and ready for any challenge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine servicing and maintenance of HGVs.
  • Prepare vehicles for MOTs, ensuring they meet all required standards.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Conduct general repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
  • Ensure all vehicles comply with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an HGV Technician.
  • Relevant qualifications in vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Strong understanding of HGV systems and components.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose issues efficiently.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
