We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Advisor, who will be instrumental in fostering a culture of safety within our Industrial operations. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively assess and mitigate potential risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.

Description

  • Promote a positive Health and Safety culture within the organisation.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
  • Develop, implement and review health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide advice and guidance on health and safety matters to all staff.
  • Lead investigations into any accidents or incidents.
  • Deliver health and safety training to staff.
  • Maintain records of inspections findings and produce reports suggesting improvements.
  • Keep up to date with new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Executive (HSE) legislation.

Profile

A successful Health and Safety Advisor should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in Health and Safety, such as NEBOSH or equivalent.
  • Experience within the Industrial / Manufacturing sector.
  • Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to deliver engaging training sessions.
  • Proficient in risk assessments and accident investigation procedures.
