Job Overview:
A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Fee Earner to join their team in Lutterworth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation and be able to manage a varied caseload independently, ensuring the highest level of client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling a diverse caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, property disputes, debt recovery, and professional negligence claims
- Providing clear and practical legal advice to clients, ensuring their best interests are met
- Drafting legal documents, pleadings, witness statements, and correspondence
- Conducting legal research and case preparation
- Representing clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings where required
- Managing cases efficiently to meet deadlines and targets
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and procedural requirements
Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor, legal executive, or experienced fee earner with relevant litigation experience
- Proven track record in civil and/or commercial litigation
- Strong advocacy, negotiation, and client management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload effectively
- Knowledge of court procedures and CPR (Civil Procedure Rules)
