We are searching for a highly presentable and professional individual with exceptional customer service skills to join our client’s business as a Customer Service Assistant, based in Bruntingthorpe.

THE ROLE

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a first-class customer experience, dealing with customer queries and the day-to-day activities to ensure customers and suppliers who visit receive an outstanding service.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Be the first person to greet customers and clients as they walk into the building in a friendly an approachable manner.
  • Act as the first point of contact for customers and vendors, ensuring relationships are developed, maintained and nurtured.
  • Responding to enquiries in an effective and timely manner, via either telephone, email or face-to-face, to ensure customer satisfaction, with an ability to identify when they need escalating.
  • Answering inbound customer calls, in a personable and friendly manner.
  • Completing all administration tasks with high attention to detail.
  • Liaising with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer journey.
  • Utilising the bespoke in-house system to process bookings and complete appointments, ensuring all regulations and procedures are followed.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, confidence, a genuine ability to connect with individuals, and all round wants to be part of a team and jump straight in. This role is likely to suit someone from a hospitality, retail or receptionist background searching for a move into commercial environment.

  • Experience in a customer-facing environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with a high level of attention to detail, whilst working within deadlines.
  • The ability to understand the needs of the customer and the company and provide effective support.
  • The ability to take ownership and demonstrate resilience in all aspects of your work.
  • The ability to work as a team, ensuring a successful sale and fantastic customer experience.
  • Understand and confidently use Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • A full, clean driving licence.
  • Are a UK resident with unrestricted right to work in the UK.
