Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Training Available

Leicestershire - Commutable from Leicester, Coventry, Birmingham, Northampton, and surrounding areas

45,000 + Shifts (2 weeks of 6am to 2:15pm, 1 week of 2pm to 10:45pm) + Overtime Available at Premium Rate + 1 in 4 Call-out Rota + Great Training Available + Support to Gain Industry Qualifications

Are you a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer, or come from a facilities maintenance background, and are looking to take the next step in your career with a forward-thinking company that will invest in your development?

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established design and manufacturing company, within the close-knit site maintenance team who have all benefitted from training and gaining industry qualifications to further their career.

This specialist manufacturer has been established for 20+ years and is renowned throughout the Leicestershire area for its design and manufacturing of components for the electrical appliance industry.

In this role, you will have responsibilities across the site such as faulting finding and basic repairs of conveyors, automated production machinery, and generators. You will also be responsible for general site maintenance such as lighting and plumbing.

The ideal candidate will have electrical maintenance experience such as single/three-phase repairs and be able to read electrical drawings. Those from a facilities maintenance background are encouraged to apply and full training will be provided such as support to your 18th Edition.

The Role

  • Fault finding and basic repairs of conveyors, production machinery, and generators
  • Maintenance of the site - lighting, plumbing, sprinklers etc.
  • Rotating shifts 2 weeks of 6am to 2:15pm, 1 week of 2pm to 10:45pm
  • Excellent training opportunities available including support to your 18th Edition qualification


The Person

  • Electrical faultfinding experience
  • Able to read electrical engineering drawings
  • Those from a facilities maintenance background are encouraged to apply, and full training will be provided
  • Knowledge of automated systems is desirable but not essential
  • Relevant industry qualifications are desirable but not essential
