Our client, a rapidly expanding retail business, is seeking an exceptional Commercial Finance Manager to take on a pivotal role in driving commercial performance and strategic decision-making. This role offers high exposure to senior stakeholders, including direct interaction with the board and leadership teams, making it a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional with a strong FP&A skillset.

£75,000 per annum + bonus + car + strong bens

What you'll do:
  • Act as a true strategic business partner, providing financial insight that influences key commercial decisions and drives growth.

  • Own and enhance the FP&A function, overseeing financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis to support strategic planning.

  • Present financial results, business cases, and strategic recommendations to the Sales Director and senior leadership team.

  • Identify opportunities to optimise profitability and efficiency across multiple sites, using data-driven insights to shape business strategies.

What you bring:
  • A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong commercial finance and FP&A experience, ideally gained within a multi-site retail, FMCG, or e-commerce environment.

  • Proven ability to business partner at a senior level, working closely with non-finance teams to provide insight and challenge.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear recommendations to drive performance.

  • Experience managing a fast-paced, evolving business, with the ability to adapt and influence effectively.

  • Previous team leadership experience is desirable but not essential.

This role is a hybrid role - on site 2 days per week.
