Field Service Technician Responsibilities:

  • Spending about 80% of your time at customer sites, managing your schedule to meet client needs.
  • Travelling across the UK and Europe to provide technical support while adhering to strict safety guidelines.
  • Handling the installation, commissioning, calibration, repairs, and troubleshooting of equipment.
  • Working closely with clients to resolve technical issues and provide customized solutions.
  • Using AutoCAD to produce and update electrical schematics, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Keeping CRM systems up to date and providing clear, detailed reports for clients and internal teams.
  • Participating in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
  • Overseeing contractors on-site and acting as the main point of contact for the business.
  • Identifying opportunities for additional services or new business ventures.

The Candidate:

  • Has solid expertise in equipment maintenance, repair, and commissioning.
  • Is skilled with AutoCAD and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Is a proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills.
  • Can handle extensive travel and maintain a flexible work schedule.
  • Prioritizes safety, quality, and health protocols
