Professional Technical are currently on the search for an experienced Simulation Engineer. Our client are a successful automotive pioneer in the surrounding location of Lutterworth. We are seeking an individual who can demonstrate a general enthusiasm and passion in the realm of all things automotive. As a Simulation Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out analysis in support of the development of original and racing equipment. Working with simulation on variation of transmission components and systems. Roles and responsibilities of the Simulation Engineer:

As a Simulation Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Create simulation modeling using a range of software in order to support and optimize design on new and existing products
  • Design and Optimization of transmission layouts and gear design
  • Development of analysis methodology and documentation creation
  • Continuous improvement to demonstrate advancements in design procedures and general efficiency improvements
  • Creation of procedures, reporting, specification and drawings

What you will require as a Simulation Engineer:

As a Simulation Engineer, you will be required to have the following:

  • Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in gear design and using analysis tools such as ROMAX Designer/SMT MASTA
  • Experience working within a race engineering environment would be desirable
  • Able to demonstrate strong computer and analytical skills
