Our Client:
Our client is seeking a skilled Point of Sale Assembly Operative to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling parts and components to produce high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have experience in the point-of-sale manufacturing industry and have a strong attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions
- Assemble parts and components according to specifications
- Use hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience of point of sale assembly is essential
- Proven experience in assembly or manufacturing
- Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with safety protocols and guidelines
Day-to-day:
- Reviewing technical drawings and assembly instructions
- Assembling parts and components using hand and power tools
- Inspecting finished products for quality and accuracy
- Communicating with team members to ensure efficient production
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
