An exceptional opportunity for a talented Regional Operations Director to spearhead operations in the Logistics/FMCG sector. The ideal candidate will excel in overseeing multiple sites, ensuring both efficiency and compliance in across the Midlands region.

Description

To lead the management of the Integrated and Network operations across multiple sites. To facilitate Project Implementation, Site Setups, Operational Improvement Programmes, Cost Saving Initiatives and as required, direct site support.

Establishing norms and standards of performance. Monitoring production performance and organisational and operational processes. Collaborating with other stakeholders to enhance productivity and employee satisfaction. Communicating ideas and opinions to other members of management.

Annual savings objectives will be set and agreed, you will lead the program to identify and delivery these savings.

You will identify and deliver service improvement activity across the business through employing leadership direction, strategic implementation of business objectives and the implementation of contractual terms and business principles.

This is a group role with responsibility for multiple internal and customer driven objectives. You will working collaboratively with all stakeholders to deliver growth, improve margin and provide sustainable solutions to drive the business forwards.

You will be a role model at all times and will always consider the business commitment to Health & Safety, Quality, Environment and Cost management.

You will operate as part of a wider group leadership team and work closely alongside Commercial and Technical teams to ensure overall business success.

Profile

路 Ability to identify potential and motivate a team of people

路 Extensive knowledge of processes and procedures

路 Experience of working successfully within a Logistics/FMCG environment, Co-Packing experience would be advantageous.

路 Experience of working in a customer-led environment with changing priorities

路 5 + years management experience

路 Extensive of managing a team across multiple locations

路 Ability to plan organise and prioritise work to strict deadlines

路 Experience of working within a production environment and with packaging machinery

路 Experience of customer, BRC and ISO audits

路 Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards associated with the industry
