We are actively searching for Warehouse, Stock, Systems and Inventory professionals to join as growing 3PL business in Lutterworth!

Client Details

Our client is a market-leading 3PL business based in the Lutterworth, Leciestershire area. The business has circa 491 logistics & warehousing hubs worldwide and are actively onboarding new FMCG contracts across their multi-user depot. Business revenues have increased 13% year-on-year with global headcount now in excess of 10,000 colleagues. Their operation in Lutterworth consists of circa 700k sq.ft. of logistics space across multiple fast-paced contracts.

Description

As a Warehouse Stock & Inventory Manager you will report into the Head of Operations on a daily basis across the 700k sq.ft., semi-automated, site in Lutterworth, Leciestershire. You will conduct the following areas of responsibility:

  • Manage a team of 5x stock and inventory specialists.
  • Develop and implement warehousing, logistics, and stock control strategies that align with business goals.
  • Create manage new warehousing and inventory systems and SOP's from scratch, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Design and optimise processes for the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods across all sites.
  • Oversee stock control and inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels are maintained across all locations.
  • Implement systems for tracking inventory levels, ensuring timely replenishment and minimising stock discrepancies.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Provide leadership and direction to ensure high performance, motivation, and professional development of the team.
  • Liaise with external partners, suppliers, and contractors to maintain efficient and reliable service levels.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management, providing regular updates on logistics performance and inventory status.

Profile

The successful Warehouse Stock & Inventory Manager will have a strong background in stock, inventory management and systems, along with the following skills and experience:

  • 4+ years' experience in logistics, stock, inventory and systems.
  • Ideal experience within an automated logistics environment.
  • FMCG and/or 3PL experience is advantageous
  • Manhattan, SAP or Red Prairie experience is desired.
  • Experienced with stock & inventory control, along with full cycle and PI counts.
  • Commutable to Lutterworth, Leciestershire (Monday-Friday 09:00-17:00)
