Woodfield School, part of Henry David Learning Trust, is an innovative and exciting independent special school, supporting children and young people with Autism and associated speech & language, social communication and behavioural difficulties, aged 7 to 19.We currently have an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals to join our community to take on the position of Teacher of English on a full time, permanent basis. Key responsibilities of the position will be to design and deliver the teaching and learning of English within the school in accordance with the aims of the School and in pursuit of high standards of pupil achievement. You will also assist in the managing and developing of a given class and/or a group of pupils, contribute to an appropriate environment for pupil learning and ensure high levels of engagement with staff, pupils, parents and the wider learning communities.Our key aims for our children are to:

  • Develop strategies for self-managing their behaviour in all settings.
