Aspire People are seeking passionate and dedicated SEN (Special Educational Needs) Teaching Assistants to join our team within schools in Lutterworth and surrounding areas. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment tailored to each student's individual requirements.Key Responsibilities:* Provide one-on-one and group support for students with SEN, both inside and outside the classroom.* Assist the class teacher in implementing tailored educational plans.* Help manage behaviour effectively and support students in building their confidence and independence.* Encourage and motivate students to participate fully in their learning activities.* Work closely with teachers, SEN coordinators, and other support staff to ensure consistent and effective support.* Maintain accurate records of students' progress and communicate effectively with staff and parents/guardians.Requirements:* Experience working with children, especially those with SEN, is highly desirable.* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children with additional needs.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work well in a team and independently.* Relevant qualifications in child development, special education, or related fields (preferred but not essential).Why Join Us?* Competitive salary based on experience.* Long-term contract with the option of extending or "as and when"* Developing social and cognitive development* Opportunity to work in a school with a strong community presence* Willing to undertake a DBS through Aspire People or be on the update service* Unlock up to £250 referral fee for each recommendation to Aspire PeopleIf you feel this position is for you, please apply above and I will be in touch.Aspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
