Woodfield SchoolTeacher of SEND Full Time, Permanent£36,000 per annum (actual)To start from October 2024 (or sooner)Woodfield School, part of Henry David Learning Trust, is an innovative and exciting independent special school, supporting children and young people with Autism and associated speech & language, social communication and behavioural difficulties, aged 7 to 19.We currently have an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals to join our community to take on the position of Teacher of SEND (science or STEM specialism preferred) on a full time, permanent basis. The successful candidate be passionate their subject and will have experience teaching in Key Stage 3 and 4 and of working with pupils with SEN and/or an awareness of how to adapt learning to meet the needs of the child.Key responsibilities of the position will be to design and deliver the teaching and learning of science within the school in accordance with the aims of the School and in pursuit of high standards of pupil achievement.
