Morgan McKinley is proud to be working in with a SME business in Lutterworth, that will be relocating to Rugby in a couple of months.
Our Client is looking for a highly organised, Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their intimate finance team. This is a full-time onsite role and you will have the chance to work within a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process and record invoices, credit notes, and employee expenses
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Ensure timely and accurate payments to suppliers
- Support month-end closing activities, including ledger reconciliations
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date purchase ledger records
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure adherence to financial procedures and compliance
Candidate Profile:
- Proficient in data entry with experience in Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
- Strong analytical skills for financial data and account reconciliation
- Knowledge of Sage is essential; familiarity with Xero is a plus
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar purchase ledger or accounts payable role (candidates with solid purchase ledger knowledge and less than 3 years' experience may be considered)
- Understanding of financial processes related to purchasing transactions
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (37.5 hours per week)
Salary & Benefits
- Pay: Up to 28,000 per year
