Are you an organised and hands-on professional looking for an exciting role in the heating sector? Our client, a leading company in maintenance and repairs, is seeking a General Operative to join their team covering Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, and Gloucestershire.

General Operative Role Details:

  • Position: General Operative Heating Team
  • Salary: 23,822 - 29,724 per annum (depending on skills and experience)
  • Hours: 39 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday

General Operative Responsibilities
  • Assist with parts deployment, stock replenishment, waste collection, and time-sensitive deliveries.
  • Support two-person attendances at tenanted properties and complete non-technical tasks.
  • Conduct regular inspections of van stock, PPE, tools, and vehicles.
  • Provide field and office-based support for employee engagement and end-to-end processes.
  • Assist other teams as required, such as voids, responsive repairs, and electrical works.

What We're Looking For
  • Experience: Familiarity with tools, stock management, and field-based work.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to use hand-held electronic devices.
  • Qualifications: GCSE-level ability in verbal reasoning, numeracy, and literacy.
  • License: Full UK driving license.
