Your responsibilities:
- The role will involve general repairs and maintenance including painting and decorating, basic plumbing and electrics.
- You will conduct routine inspections and maintenance tasks on both commercial and residential properties.
- You will supervise and coordinate contractors for repairs, renovations, and maintenance projects.
- Assist in project management, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling, maintaining accurate records of all work completed
- Troubleshoot and resolve building maintenance issues promptly and efficiently, whilst maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.
- Proven experience in building maintenance.
- Proficiency in IT and office software. Includinggood phone/tablet skills- app use, photographs and messaging
- Strong project management skills and customer service skills
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Residential property maintenance experience is a plus.
- Company Van with fuel card provided
- Tool set provided
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £40,000.00 per year plus over time
Schedule:
Monday to Friday 40 Hrs 08:30 to 17:00
Overtime: Some evening, emergency and reactive weekend call out.
Work Location: Forest of Dean, with some travel to South Wales and Bristol.
