Our client is looking for a multi-drop driver with a mechanical background. The client is a market-leading rental provider of excavation support systems and specialist products for the water, civil engineering, and construction industries. With a remarkable 60-year heritage, we offer comprehensive shoring and related services. They provide a wide range of solutions, including shoring, piling, construction training, temporary bridging, and more. Our goal is to be the convenient one-stop shop for "total solutions" in the construction and civil engineering industry. This position is based out of a depot in Lymington covering surrounding areas, this position is a great opportunity to join a company who value their staff who provide great benefits.
Driver/Technician Job Overview- Your day-to-day duties will include the receipt, preparation, testing and despatching of equipment, whilst operating within the Company's policies and procedures.
- Managing a busy workload and being a true team player are integral to succeeding in this position.
- Multi-drop deliveries to clients and customers.
- Basic repairs, services and maintenance on fleet vehicles
- Full UK driving licence.
- Experience in multi-drop driving roles or the construction industry.
- Good knowledge of the local area.
- Great customer service skills and a desire to please customers every time.
- Some knowledge of tools and plant would be beneficial.
- Mechanical knowledge would be advantageous.
- Commutable distance to Lymington.
- Happy to use own vehicle to commute to depot.
- £26,500 salary
- 40 hour working week (Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00)
