Position: Business Development Manager (OEM and Distribution Experience)

About the Role:Are you a dynamic, forward-thinking individual with exceptional communication abilities and a proven track record in OEM and distribution? My client is a world-renowned Defence provider, saving soldiers' lives in the process. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their fast-paced team. In this role, you will be responsible for building effective relationships with prospective customers and stakeholders, identifying growth opportunities within sales, and leveraging your OEM and distribution experience to drive success.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline
- Implement strategic sales plans and initiatives
- Follow up on leads through sales calls, emails, and client meetings
- Create and execute clear advertising and partnership plans
- Oversee the entire sales journey for new and existing clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally
- Ensure effective communication with B2B customers
- Report and forecast revenue from all customers
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities
- Maintain accurate records on CRM systems for revenue forecasting
- Leverage OEM and distribution experience to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities
Skills & Experience:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- 5+ years of experience in a sales role, with a focus on OEM and distribution
- Experience in a sales agency is desired but not essential
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with OEMs and distributors
- Strong negotiation skills and a customer-focused approach
