- A working knowledge of 415v, 230v and 24v Electrical Systems
- Time Served Apprenticeship in Engineering / Manufacturing
- Basic Mechanical Knowledge
- Forklift operation experience (Preferred not necessary - training can be provided)
- Have experience machining and manufacturing precision parts and components
- Previous experience working as a CNC Operator / Machinist / Miller / Turner – ideally with experience in Fanuc, Seimens, Fagor, and Heidenhain controls
- Be able to read from engineering drawings
- Have previous experience working in a similar Machine Shop environment
- Be able to work well alone as well as part of a team
- Be happy to work the alternating weekly shifts
- Electrical Wiring and Fitting of CNC Control Systems
- Mechanical Fitting of Servo Motors, and Machine Tool Systems
- Unloading, loading and instillation of machine tools
- Service/Repair of Machine Tools and Inspecting components as required
- PLC Writing and Diagnostics on Fanuc, Siemens, Fagor and Heidenhain controls (Preferable)
- CNC Milling or Turning working with varied controls
- Running multiple machines – small to medium batch work
- Reading from engineering drawings
- Adhering to company H&S requirements
- Potential to become a CNC Trainer, training customers in the use of their machines
- Have a flexible approach to work
