Stores Technician

We are seeking a skilled Stores Technician to join their small, dynamic team in the Stores Department. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to a forward-thinking company known for excellence within their field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving Goods: Efficiently manage the receipt of incoming goods, ensuring accuracy in quantity and quality.
• Goods Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of all incoming materials to verify compliance with company standards.
• Picking and Packing: Accurately pick and pack materials for production and dispatch, ensuring all orders are fulfilled correctly and on time.
• Inventory Management: Perform regular inventory counts, manage stock rotations, and maintain accurate stock records.
• Dispatch: Coordinate the dispatch of goods, including the production and management of all export/customs documentation.
• Compliance: Adhere strictly to all compliance regulations, maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience in a similar stores or warehouse role is essential.
• Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence is required.
• Forklift Experience: Forklift experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
• PC Skills: Proficient in using computer systems, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software.
• Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to work with excellent attention to detail.
• Prioritisation: Strong ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
