Your new roleAs Logistics / Supply Chain Coordinator you will play an important role, managing shipments from international suppliers, to ensure clients' orders are successfully delivered. You will be at the heart of the business, and will enjoy a varied and fast paced role. What you'll need to succeedYou will have relevant previous experience, either with a forwarder or carrier, or with a company using those services to handle international shipments. Familiarity with shipping and customs terminology and processes is required, and exposure to wider supply chain issues is very useful. You will liaise with manufacturers, consolidate loads, track shipments and ensure all stakeholders are aware of expected delivery dates. You will be comfortable handling data and orders accurately, and be able to plan shipments in a cost effective way. A willingness to help out with other functions is always appreciated within this close team, which also means that the role is varied, and your skills and experience will grow with the business. FMCG experience is an advantage, and you will already be comfortable with Excel and other IT systems.
